THE WAR DRUMMER (3 PIECE PROCESS SET)

$300.00

This special 3 piece collection captures 3 different stages involved in reaching the final art.

The first is an initial concept piece, done with brush pens and markers on A4 copy paper (21cm x 29.7cm).

Then there’s another version where I switched to my usual calligraphy pen and halftone stamp. On this page I was mostly just trying to figure out how to approach a few particular aspects of the image. It’s on watercolour paper (24cm x 32cm).

And the final image is black and white ink, with inkwash, on watercolour paper (24cm x 32cm).
